Open position: Unity Game Developer
Red Martyr Entertainment is looking for a talented Unity Game Developer to join the team of creatives and enthusiasts as soon as possible.
The candidate will join the team currently in the stage of post-launch support of the recently released video game Saint Kotar and the development of the Saint Kotar DLC. After the DLC release, the team will move to work on a new (super secret) IP video game project using the Unity engine.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the implementation and iteration of assets
- Work closely with writers, artists, animators and other developers/programmers to develop and iterate on gameplay features and ensure a great player experience
- Work closely with the QA team to find and fix bugs
- Develop and maintain gameplay features
- Create prototypes for the new IP
Acceptable Candidates (absolutely required)
- Experience with Unity engine
- Knowledge of C#
- Well organized, proactive and problem solving mentality
- Respect of and good communication with other team members
- Strong knowledge of the English language
Ideal Candidates (in addition to the above)
- 2+ years of experience as a game developer working in Unity
- Strong knowledge of C#
- Love for narrative focused video games
Instant Hire Candidates (in addition to everything listed above)
- Shipped at least 1 narrative focused video game
- Aware of trends in the video game industry, especially story-driven games
- Favorite game (at least one of the mentioned): Baldur's Gate 1, Baldur's Gate 2, Fallout 1, Fallout 2, Star Wars KOTOR. This is just a joke... or not
